E Closet is a peer-to-peer fashion marketplace built on a simple idea — a great outfit doesn’t always need to be bought new. Shoppers browse clothing to rent or buy, while anyone with pieces sitting unworn in their own closet can list them for someone else to wear.
CoreDron built the native iOS product alongside the supporting web experience and marketplace admin platform, connecting the customer-facing and operational sides of the marketplace.

The Challenge
One marketplace, several different journeys.
E Closet looks simple from the outside — find something you like, rent or buy it. Underneath that are several different journeys that all have to work together: renters, buyers, people listing their own clothes, delivery, returns and messaging between everyone involved.
Rental and purchase behave differently.
Buying ends in ownership. Renting adds dates, availability, delivery and eventually a return trip. Both had to live comfortably in the same product without confusing either one.
The marketplace has two sides.
Someone searching for an outfit needs an easy way to find it and check out. Someone listing that same outfit needs an equally easy way to add it and manage what happens after.
Fashion search starts with an idea.
People usually know the occasion or the look before they know the exact product name. Discovery had to work from that starting point, not just a search box.

Fashion decisions aren’t always instant. Favorites and collections give shoppers somewhere to keep pieces they like, compare a few options, and come back when they’re ready to decide.
Delivery & Return
Some pieces ship nationwide through EasyPost, and eligible orders can use a supported same-day delivery flow through Uber. A rental’s return trip is tracked in the app, so the piece actually makes it back to its owner.

Rental vs purchase logic
One product may have different behavior depending on whether the user wants to rent it or purchase it.
The app keeps rental and purchase as separate states inside the same product experience, so the right pricing and fulfillment flow follows whichever one the user picks.
Different fulfillment options
Not every marketplace item reaches the customer in the same way.
The transaction flow adapts to whatever fulfillment options a listing supports — verified shipping through EasyPost, and for eligible local orders, a same-day delivery flow through Uber.
Search beyond product names
Fashion discovery is often visual or occasion-based rather than based on an exact search term.
E Closet organizes discovery around occasions, styles and closets instead of relying on text search alone, and keeps expanding those tools with AI-assisted and reverse-search functionality where currently available.

Behind the mobile marketplace is an admin platform for the team running E Closet — a practical view of the activity they need to manage, without exposing any of that complexity to users in the app.

All three captures above are the real admin platform. On the Dashboard and Marketplace Analyst views, business-sensitive numeric values (GMV, revenue, order counts, chart scales) are masked with dummy figures. On the Clothes view, listing IDs, owner names, avatars and product thumbnails are anonymized — item titles, designer brand names, per-item prices, status and dates are real and reflect what the operator actually sees.
