Keeping an Active Schedule Useful
Problem
A retreat programme moves quickly — sessions shift, rooms change, guests get added, the day rearranges itself. A static agenda printed a week ago starts to lie almost immediately, and the attendee ends up asking the person next to them what is happening next.
Solution
The schedule sits at the centre of the app, tuned so an organiser can update it and the change is what everyone opens next. Attendees look, get their answer, and go back to the room — no separate document, no chasing screenshots in the group chat.
Helping Attendees Understand Who Is in the Room
Problem
The retreat is invitation-only and the people in the room are half the point. But without a way to see who is present, who is presenting and who is dropping in as a guest, new connections stall and returning alumni miss the newer faces they came to meet.
Solution
Attendee, presenter and special-guest surfaces are treated as first-class parts of the app, not a footnote. Names and context sit alongside the schedule so an attendee can walk into a session already knowing who is on the panel and who else signed up.
Keeping Community Conversation Useful
Problem
Group chats sprawl. Screenshots get lost, shared links disappear under a new day of messages, and the ongoing Alumni conversation between editions competes with the noise of the current retreat.
Solution
