FPTA — the Federation of Paper Traders' Associations of India (Est. 1959) — is a national federation that represents 6,000+ paper-trading members across regional associations in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Dehradun, Secunderabad and beyond. The FPTA India mobile app is the federation's digital surface for its members: a members directory, an association-by-association browser, a 14-category paper-business index, a forum for business inquiries with in-app chat, an events board and a notifications hub for circulars, reports and news. CoreDron's internal project records document an earlier FPTA India mobile implementation — with Flutter recorded as the mobile stack, and PHP and Firebase in the recorded services layer — alongside an earlier FPTA web implementation on HTML / CSS / JavaScript with Node.js and MongoDB. The current App Store release (version 2.0) carries a different developer credit, and today's fptaindia.in carries a different agency credit; this case study represents the CoreDron-era implementation recorded in internal project records, not the current live surfaces.
FPTA had to bring a 6,000-member national federation — split across regional associations, committees and 14 paper business categories — into a single digital surface members could reach from their phone.
Give every paper-trading member — and every regional association that member belongs to — a canonical, searchable place inside the app, so buyers, sellers and committee members could find each other.
Surface the current national committee, sub-committees and their role holders (President, VPs, Hon. Treasurer, Hon. Secretary and city-level VPs) so members could see and reach committee representatives in one tap.
Let members browse other members by paper category — Art Paper, Colour Board, Copier, Digital Paper, Duplex Board, Folding Box Board, Grey Board, Imported / Marble Paper, Kraft, Metallic, Mill Board & Straw, Newsprint, Sticker Paper, Waste Paper — instead of only by city.
Publish upcoming and past FPTA events — Annual General Meetings, Managing Committee meetings, webinars, Paper Day, delegation trips — with date, host association and description, so members could plan participation.
Give members a place to post business inquiries, subscribe to inquiry categories they cared about, and continue the conversation inside the app instead of moving to WhatsApp or email.
Deliver FPTA circulars, industry news and event photos as in-app notifications, and add small human touches — birthday and anniversary reminders — that turn a directory into a community.
Browse every association affiliated with FPTA and, inside each association, every registered member. Each listing carries the member's business identity (brand, company, address) so buyers and sellers can size each other up.
A dedicated screen for FPTA's national committee and sub-committees — Presidents, Vice Presidents (Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Secunderabad), Treasurer and Secretary — with one-tap contact.
A 14-tile category browser covering every paper category the federation tracks, so a member can pull the list of all other members active in that category, wherever in India they are.
Each member can edit their own profile, add team members, list their business categories and add product photos. Editing is scoped to the member's verified phone number so nobody can edit somebody else's business identity.
The events screen splits into Upcoming and Past — AGMs, Managing Committee meetings, Paper Day (1st August), webinars, delegation trips — each with date, host association, venue and description.
Members can create inquiries, subscribe to trending inquiries or categories that match their interests, see recent and subscribed inquiry threads, and continue the conversation over in-app chat.
Search members by brand name, company name — or, in a nod to the industry's community norms, by blood group — so members can find each other by whichever handle they know first.
A single notifications feed carries FPTA circulars and reports, industry news, event photos and birthday / anniversary reminders — so members don't have to hunt across channels to see what the federation is doing.

No. The FPTA India product is a business federation's member and association directory — App Store category Business, not Education. It carries no coursework, no training programs, no assessments and no certifications. An earlier version of this case study used training / certification language; that framing was incorrect and has been retired.
CoreDron's internal project records list Flutter as the mobile stack for the FPTA India app, with PHP and Firebase in the recorded services layer, and separately record an earlier FPTA web implementation using HTML / CSS / JavaScript with Node.js and MongoDB. Those are presented as CoreDron-era implementation details rather than claims about the current live app or website — the current App Store v2.0 build is maintained by a different developer, so its stack is not CoreDron's to describe.
