Project Overview
Extending a private members-only club into a connected digital product.

Parlour Room is a private members-only poker club serving Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, operating live in-person poker experiences at 1200 Kennedy Rd in Scarborough, Toronto.
CoreDron was engaged to build the digital platform from the ground up rather than extending an existing application. Over approximately six months, the engagement grew into a connected ecosystem across the customer, operational and internal-staff experiences.
- Customer iOS and Android applications
- Backend services and APIs
- Web-based administration platform
- Game, tournament and reservation workflows
- Internal iPad application for on-floor table operations
The goal was to keep the player experience simple while giving the operations team the internal tools required to manage live poker activity.
The Challenge
Three distinct audiences, one connected system.
Running live poker events involves more complexity than publishing a schedule. Each audience needs a purpose-built interface, while the underlying data has to stay consistent across every surface.
Players
Members opening the mobile app to discover live poker activity, review what's running that evening, browse the tournament calendar and reserve a seat before arriving at the venue.
Operations Team
Staff maintaining game and tournament information, tracking reservations, managing member details and keeping customer-facing information aligned with what is actually happening at the club.
Table Staff
On-floor staff at the tables who need internal, purpose-built views to support live venue workflows without exposing customer-facing or full administrative complexity.
Building From Scratch
A full product lifecycle across every surface.
CoreDron worked across every layer of the product rather than delivering an isolated frontend. The approximately six-month engagement covered planning, design, architecture and implementation for the customer mobile apps, backend services, web administration platform and internal iPad application.
The result is a connected multi-surface product rather than a standalone booking app.
Customer Mobile Experience
From discovery to a seat at the table.
The public mobile apps are designed as a single flow rather than a set of disconnected screens. A member can move from browsing what’s running tonight to holding a reservation for that specific game without leaving the app.

Admin Operations
Centralised Control of Club Operations
The Parlour Room administration platform gives the operations team one place to manage the systems behind the member experience — from game schedules and player activity to restaurant menus and operational reporting.

Restaurant & Menu Management
Staff can organise menu categories, manage food items, control availability and configure product options from the administration platform.

Playing Hours & Activity Tracking
The admin provides a consolidated view of player sessions, assigned agents, cash games, table and seat activity, playing time and session status, with filters and CSV export for operational reporting.

Cash Game Scheduling
Weekly cash-game schedules can be managed from one operational view, including game status, start times, sub-events and related configuration.
Admin screens shown here are sanitised demo captures of the real Parlour Room administration UI. UI layout and modules are those built for Parlour Room; player names, agent IDs and operational figures shown in-screen are illustrative demo data and not real records.
Internal iPad Application
Built for on-floor table operations.
Parlour Room also required a dedicated iPad application for internal staff use at the poker tables. Unlike the public customer app, this application is designed around internal table and venue workflows. It provides a purpose-built interface for staff without exposing customer-facing or full administrative complexity.

Table Overview
Staff can see the current state of every table in the room at a glance — which tables are running, which format they are running, how many seats are open and which tables are closed — and open a table to manage it from there.
- Room header: Toronto Poker Syndicate
- Active table with format label — Table 1 · Holdem 1/3
- Live seat count — Seats Open : 9
- Closed-table state on Tables 2, 3 and 4

Seat Management
Inside an active table, the interface gives staff seat-level controls for the nine positions around the table, alongside table-level actions to add a user, switch to another table or close the table entirely.
- Table header — Table 1 · Holdem 1/3
- Nine numbered seats around the table (Seat 1 – Seat 9)
- Table controls — Add New User, Switch Table, Close Table
- Back arrow returns to the room-level Table Overview
Table Operations · End-to-End
From Table Overview to Seat Management.
Together, these screens show the internal iPad experience at two operational levels: a room-level table overview and seat-level controls for an active table.

iPad screens above are captured from the internal table application, where the interface is headed “Toronto Poker Syndicate”. The application is a staff-only tool and is not publicly distributed. These captures show an empty room and an empty active table with no player data on screen.
