Co-Tasker is a local-services marketplace serving customers and independent professionals across Germany. Its published marketing shorthand is three steps — POST, BOOK, GET IT DONE — but the full verified in-app flow runs seven: Post Task → Receive Offers → Select a Co-Tasker → Book → Get It Done → Release Payment → Review. That single flow carries one task from the moment a customer describes what they need to the moment both sides rate each other after the work is done, and CoreDron's engagement worked on the customer app, the professional-side experience and the operational surfaces that keep bookings, communication and payments moving at every step in between. The app is available on iOS and Android; the current Google Play listing shows 50K+ downloads (verified public product signal, September 2026).

Co-Tasker had to work for two audiences at once — customers posting everyday tasks, and independent professionals looking for local work — and had to keep both sides trusting each other from posting through payment.
Support both roles on the same product surface — customers who post tasks, and professionals who discover and take them — without forcing either side through a workflow built for the other.
Give customers a low-effort way to describe what they need done, where, and when, so that posting a task never feels heavier than the task itself.
Match posted tasks with nearby professionals whose profile, category and availability actually fit the job — instead of blasting a task to everyone.
Verified professional profiles, ratings and reviews so that customers can judge who they are hiring, and professionals can build a reputation over time.
An in-platform payment workflow where the customer's payment is reserved when the booking is confirmed and released to the professional once the task is completed — so neither side is exposed while the work is in progress.
A conversation thread tied to each task, so customers and professionals can clarify scope, agree on timing and share details without leaving the app.

The customer opens the app, describes the task in their own words, adds the details that matter (category, location, when it should happen), and publishes it to nearby professionals.
Local professionals in the matching category see the task, review the details and respond with their availability and offer — so the customer sees several real options for that specific job rather than one auto-assigned pick.
The customer compares the professionals who responded — profile, service area, background, ratings and offer — and picks the Co-Tasker they want to work with for this task.
Confirming the booking locks in the chosen professional and moves the task into the shared workflow, where both sides can see that it is booked, agreed and about to start.
The professional shows up and does the work. An in-task chat lets the two sides coordinate scope, timing or any last details along the way, without either side having to swap outside contact details.
The customer's payment — reserved in-platform when the booking was confirmed — is released to the professional once the task is completed and the customer confirms completion, so neither side is exposed while the work is in progress.
Once the task is closed out, both sides leave a rating and review. That reputation record travels with the professional (and with the customer) into every future booking on the platform.

Co-Tasker is a local-services task marketplace that connects customers with independent professionals across Germany. Customers post a task they need done, book a nearby professional who is a fit for the job, and the professional gets the task done — a POST → BOOK → GET IT DONE flow.
CoreDron's engagement shipped the Co-Tasker marketplace end-to-end: the customer app for posting and booking tasks, the professional-side experience for discovering and responding to nearby tasks, and the operational surfaces that keep bookings, in-task communication and payments moving between the two sides.
Yes — Co-Tasker is available on both iOS and Android. As of September 2026 the Google Play listing shows 50,000+ downloads. The specific mobile framework the apps are built in is not published in this case study without source-code verification.
Co-Tasker uses an in-platform payment workflow. When the customer confirms a booking, their payment is reserved for that task rather than sent to the professional immediately, and it is released to the professional once the task is completed and confirmed — so neither side is exposed while the work is in progress. The specific payment provider used behind that workflow is not disclosed in this case study.
Customers post a task with the category, location and details of what they need done. Nearby professionals in the matching category can see the task, review the details and respond, and the customer picks who to book based on profile, category fit and availability — so tasks are matched with local professionals rather than blasted to everyone.
Each professional has a profile showing their categories, service area and background, and after every completed task both sides leave a rating and review. Over time that reputation record travels with the professional into every future booking, so a customer sizing up a new booking has both the profile and the track record to look at before they commit.
